Association Board Meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month.  We meet at Sam and Louie’s, 24th and Cummings, Omaha.  All OASBDA members are encouraged to attend.

Events Schedule

All rallies are held on Saturday and Sunday, unless stated otherwise.  All Omaha rallies are double elimination, two/four-wheel swap races to the top eight places, unless stated differently.  Pits open at 6 a.m.  Be on site by 7 a.m.  Registration is from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.  Brackets are pulled at 8 a.m.  Parent/Driver meeting is at 8:15 a.m.  Racing starts at 8:30 a.m.  Concession stand serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks.  First-time racers should bring a photocopy of their birth certificate to include with the registration.

> Omaha AA Local Championship Race — Sat., June 21, 2008.  Stock, Super Stock and Masters.  Winners qualify for the                                                                                                    in Akron, OH.  See the association newsletter for details about the Local.  Complete one registration form per racer and bring to the Local.  Please make a copy for yourself if you want one.  Pits open at 6:30 a.m.  Racers must be on site by 7 a.m.  Drivers check in and receive official race day t-shirt (must be worn).  Group photo and parent/driver meeting at 7:30 a.m.  Brackets pulled at 8:10 a.m.  Driver parade at 8:30 a.m. followed by VIP races, National Anthem and first heat. 

> Omaha AA Local Consolation Race (Championship rain out, if necessary), Awards Ceremony, Swimming and Pizza — Sun., June 22, 2008.  Stock, Super Stock and Masters.  Pits open at 7 a.m.  Racers must be on site and checked in by 7:30 a.m.  Brackets pulled at 7:30 a.m. followed by race.  Estimate finish around 4—5 p.m.  Swimming, pizza and awards ceremony to follow (more information will be given on Sat., June 21).
